The poignant crematorium scene was filmed here, which is about a 10-minute drive to the West of the City Centre. A busy and very much in use crematorium, it’s interesting to just take a wander around the arches and gardens to get a sense of the history of the place. An absolutely superb place to visit, it is virtually untouched from the 1970s. Please note that even on our visit at what I would consider a quiet time, there were two funerals taking place, so please be respectful to these if you’re visiting!
